GUIDELINES FOR ADMISSION:
 
Kindergarten & Primary section:
A child seeking admission to LKG must have completed three years of age by the 31st July of the calendar year. The parent should produce a copy of birth and community certificates with originals obtained from the competent authorities as an evidence of proof of age and of community when he/she admits his/her child in LKG. A student seeking admission in primary class (I to V stds) should surrender his original transfer certificate from the school last studied. The students are admitted for these classes based on their performance in IQ test and oral interview.

Matriculation and Higher Secondary Course:
For classes VI to IX & XI, the admission of a candidate is based on the performance of student in the entrance test and the oral interview. The entrance test is conducted for the new entrant in English, Language (Tamil/Hindi) and Mathematics for students seeking admission to stds VI to IX. For Std XI, the student should take entrance test based on the subjects like English, Science and Mathematics of Std X syllabus.

The selected student for classes VI to IX must produce the original T.C from the school last studied along with the community certificate issued by the competent authority. The admission to the higher secondary course is confirmed only when the selected student surrenders his/her original X mark pass certificate with the original T.C from the school last studied. No admission is entertained for X & XII classes.
 
Counter Signature:
The students who have had their schooling from SSLC/ICSE/CBSE/ other State Boards streams and they are seeking admission in I to IX & XI stds must have their original transfer certificates counter signed by the concerned authorities of respective streams (including foreign transfer certificates).
 
Promotion Rules:
A student is eligible for promotion to the next class provided that the student should have an aggregate of 40% and above in all subjects of the present standard. Generally 20% of Quarterly, 20% of Half yearly and 60% of Annual examinations marks are aggregated for each subject to decide the promotion of student to next class.
 
Withdrawals:
A parent is permitted to apply for T.C at the end of the academic year. Such parent should give at least a week time for the school to process his/her application to issue the T.C for his/her ward after the publication of the Annual Examination results. The T.C will be issued for the student provided he/she should have paid all his/her dues to the school.
 
Fees:
A parent can pay the school fees either monthly/term-wise/annually. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
 
AN APPEAL

We welcome the Voluntary Contributions towards the development of the Schools managed by the KRISHNASWAMY EDUCATIONAL TRUST which is exempted from Income Taxt Act under section 80G.

The Cheques/Demand Drafts to be drawn in favour of "Krishnaswamy Educational Trust".
